Moonpenny is a traditional fit-out trad-stern narrowboat with a charming, characterful, comfortable interior.
Featuring a double berth in an aft cabin, a toilet and shower cubicle, L shaped galley with breakfast bar and a saloon with multi-fuel stove. A Futon in the saloon converts to a double berth.
Powered by a BMC 1500 diesel engine. Hot water is supplied from a Paloma instant water heater. Last blacked in 2020 with Boat Safety certification to 2027 and survey completed in 2021. She is booked in for blacking with us May 2024.
One owner boat purchased new from the boatbuilder in 1989 as a 35’.
A fit-out was completed with a decision within a year to increase her length, so a 8’ centre section was added between side hatch and the galley.
Moonpenny has been extensively used and enjoyed across the canal network.
