A very tidy and well maintained rib that has the added bonus of a brand new engine with nearly 5 years of manufacturers warranty left. This model has the high transom so is less prone to flooding when going astern. Four secure jockey seats with backrests and a large console containing a large locker and good instrumentation. Single axle braked Rapide trailer. This is a very tidy package and well worth viewing.

I am selling my Ribtec 535 because she has not been used enough, having only 63 hours on the Yamaha F80 BETL engine since May 2007 (at time of writing). She is built to a high specification and has been professionally maintained and serviced and is in excellent condition with no known defects.

| Inflatable Boats: For Sale: 8.5 Metre Diesel Ribtec |

Previously used by the renown Seastart. These ribs were used to launch their business and were operated in and around the solent area. The Ribtec hull has great seakeeping ablities and even surprised me during a voyage around the Maplin Sands in a force 6 south easterly.
She is powered by 330Hp V8 diesel engine which pushes the boat to 40+ knots. At present it has a towing prop attached to the Sternpowr drive which delivers 25 knots but allows her to tow even the larger vessel via a large stainless steel towing post midships.
The engine has recently had new start batteries, ignition cables, ignition switch, multiplug core cable, Recon-borg warner G/Box and starter motor fitted. It has been serviced and can be seen running afloat.
Navigation equipment compises of compass, Raymarine Pathfinder GPS,Radar,VHF, depth and speed log.
The tubes hold air but the Starboard aft tank does lose some air after a while. The boat comes with a trailer which at present is not road worthy but has only been used in the yard to pick the boat out of the water for annual dry docking.
This vessel has previously been in code to MCA standards and would not be too hard to reinstate. If you are looking for a cheap diesel rib then grab yourself a bargain here.

I am thinking of parting with my lovely 98 (I believe 98) Ribtec 535 with a beautifully smooth 60 hp Yamaha oil injection with power trim and tilt.
The engine has just been serviced by Fairwhether Marine and its running beautifully.
Great English boat, excellent engine on a Hallmark Rollercoaster trailer with Garman GPS/Fishfinder, fenders, warps and anchor. Two fuel tanks, Treadmaster decks, compass, A-Bar. In fact everything is there and it’s ready to go.
More photos can be emailed, always flusehed out after every use and stored under cover in a barn. This RIB has been very well loked after since new. Genuine reluctant reason for sale. |
